Yulita Felix is a 48 years old woman from Bukoba, Kagera Region, Tanzania, and a mother of four children. She makes local beer from banana juice and sells it to local customers. In order to make LUBISI, she buys bananas from the villagers and brews it for her sales on Saturdays and Sundays. Even though there is high demand for LUBISI daily, Yulita does not have the capital to buy bananas and brew more local beer. Only by selling banana beer first she can raise some money to reinvest on buying more bananas, therefore increasing her production.
